The Carriage is a public house in Jesmond. It was originally Jesmond Station, which was opened in 1864 by the Blyth & Tyne Railway. It was on the line from Newcastle (New Bridge Street terminus) to Blyth. The station closed in 1978 when the Tyne & Wear Metro was built, with the new Jesmond Metro Station built nearby. It was converted to be a public house and has an adjoining railway carriage and signal box which house restaurants.
The former station is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. It is notable as being the last surviving station of the Blyth and Tyne railway.
